What a lucky find! We were driving from Marble Falls to Houston with our pups and stopped here for lunch. It was excellent. I had the Airline Chicken Breast and my husband had the Three Cheese Macaroni with chicken. We started with black eyed pea and tomato basil soup. From the food to the service everything was excellent. We will be stopping here again!
We really enjoyed our time there last weekend. It was very relaxed and the staff was attentive and friendly. They had a good menu that was too extensive. We had the sliders and the Wagu steak flatbed. I enjoyed both. My wife liked the sliders more than the flatbed. She thought the goat cheese was a little overpowering, bit I thought the acid of the balsamic worked well with it. We'd definitely go back the next time there in Brenham.

It is rare to find such a sincere and skillful homage to traditional Italian flavours in Texas, yet here, it was accomplished with remarkable finesse. The excellence of the cuisine was matched by the attentive and warm service. I would like to extend particular appreciation to Morgan and Abigail, both of whom demonstrated professionalism, charm, and a genuine dedication to guest satisfaction. A special note of gratitude is due to Morgan, whose natural ease and kindness with children is truly commendable, making our family experience all the more memorable. Without hesitation, I can say this is one of the finest restaurants in Brenham, Texas. Amazing quality food, if you have the chance to grab the bacon wrapped quail I’d totally recommend! The wedge fries were cooked perfectly, the Brussel sprouts were crispy, the honey drizzle was a great touch. The chicken lettuce wraps were good too.
Our family went to celebrate the wedding of my father and our new stepmother on Wednesday night. The service was impeccable. The food was the best I’ve had in town in 10 years and the owner came by and congratulated my parents. I cannot recommend this restaurant anymore highly. Visit 96 West!
Everything about this this place is excellent. The atmosphere, the location, and the food was absolutely delicious. Big portions. Margreta is what an amazing server should be. She was friendly and made us felt welcome. She explained the menu and was just sweet. I will definitely return. We had the butchers special and the grilled chicken jasmine rice.

She is always so friendly, attentive, and welcoming, and she somehow manages to make every visit feel extra special. The wait staff are some of the sweetest people you’ll meet, and they treat everyone with warmth and respect. The atmosphere is classy, cozy, and upscale without feeling pretentious — the perfect place for a date night, dinner with friends, or just a relaxing evening out. The steaks and food quality are outstanding and you can truly taste the freshness and attention to detail in every dish. The service was spectacular from start to finish and everyone there makes you feel welcome. Prices are actually very reasonable for the level of food and experience you get. Great crowd of people dining here ..Brenham is lucky to have a place this good. Definitely one of the best restaurants around and highly recommended.
Just had an in between lunch dinner meal at 96 West for the first time. Alec was our server. He did a phenomenal job. Very attentive, food was exceptionally delicious. We had the crabcakes and the shrimp and grits. Sauce on the grits was exquisite. Additionally, they had a solid Texas craft draft selection. I really enjoyed the table layout as there are two separate bars, regular four tops a large table for a big party window seats, and a separate room for private events.
